From Viv Richards’ rather ordinary debut and Gordon Greenidge’s sensational century on debut in its inaugural Test match, the Chinnaswamy Stadium has witnessed some very exciting cricket. Home to legendary cricketers GR Viswanath, Erapalli Prasanna, Syed Kirmani and more recently Anil Kumble, just to name a few, the M Chinnaswamy Stadium will always be remembered for the thrilling India-Pakistan Quarter Final in the 1996 Wills World Cup.
